In the afternoon we hiked up Castle Rock to Granite Skywalk in Porongurup National Park. The trailhead is about 50 km north of Albany. It is a moderately strenuous 2.2 km hike up to Castle Rock. Near the summit is Balancing Rock, the gateway to Granite Skywalk. Climbing up to the skywalk was a bit adventurous but we made it without incident.
