Toowoomba was intended to be a place to lay our head on our way to Brisbane. Before leaving we took the opportunity to look around a bit. It seems to be the last large town heading west, a dividing line between the populated coastal region and the vast rural land. We visited downtown, Queens Park Gardens, and Picnic Point Park. We especially enjoyed Picnic Point.
